Have questions about funding your stay through the NDIS? We’ve put together a list of some important info for you to know.

Sargood on Collaroy provides Short Term Accommodation and High Intensity Assistance and is a registered provider of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Depending on your NDIS support allocation, you may also be able to access funding through the NDIS for a Club Sargood membership or for extra therapy and training at Club Sargood.

What NDIS Support Item does Sargood on Collaroy fall under?
Sargood on Collaroy is a provider of Short-Term Accommodation and Assistance. The support item used for this is Core Supports: Assistance with Daily Living. Both short-term accommodation and assistance, and assistance with self-care may be funded by the NDIS.

How long can I stay at Sargood on Collaroy under the NDIS?
NDIS participants may be able to seek financial assistance to stay at Sargood on Collaroy for up to 28 days per year, with a maximum of 14 consecutive days.

What are the package options at Sargood on Collaroy?
Sargood on Collaroy has three package options, varying based on level of care. We offer the Wellness Package, the Wellness & Support Package, and the Wellness & High Support Package.

What may be covered by the NDIS?
Stays at Sargood on Collaroy can be booked under one of our three package options. Our packages provide short-term accommodation and high intensity assistance, as well as negotiated activities.

Funding assistance from the NDIS may also be available to cover extra costs beyond our package inclusions, such as extra therapy or training and extra hours of assistance with self-care activities.

The details of what the NDIS will cover for a stay at Sargood on Collaroy differs depending on whether your funds are managed by a Plan Manager, NDIS managed or self-managed.

Is there anything that the NDIS does not cover during a stay?
There may be some out of pocket costs during your stay. You will need to cover the cost of all meals and incidentals. Any activities, courses and events where the cost is not covered by your chosen package will need to be paid for by you.

How do I arrange a stay at Sargood on Collaroy?
Steps to arrange a stay will differ slightly depending on if you are plan-managed, NDIA managed or self-managed. However, your first steps will always be the complete the following:

  1. Decide which package you prefer – the Wellness Package, Wellness and Support Package or the Wellness and High Support Package
