Inpatient Intro Stays

Whether you are an inpatient on the Prince of Wales, Royal North Shore or Royal Rehab spinal injury units, we recognise the challenges associated with long hospital stays. We see undeniable benefits for individuals and families who are given the opportunity to spend time away from the hospital to recover and reconnect in a different environment.

What are Inpatient Intro Stays?

If you do not have access to insurance or are currently waiting for NDIS plans to be approved, Royal Rehab is offering a 2 night fully funded stay for inpatients on the Prince of Wales, Royal North Shore or Royal Rehab spinal injury units. Simply elect that you would like to stay using the Inpatient Intro Stay Grant on your booking form.

In most cases, funding assistance is available for stays at Sargood on Collaroy.

All icare Lifetime Care participants and Workers Care participants living with SCI can request financial support from icare for their stay.

We encourage those that are eligible to apply for funding assistance to stay at Sargood on Collaroy through the NDIS when developing their plans. If you have an active NDIS plan and have funds available for Short Term Accommodation and Assistance/Respite then you will be able to use these funds to stay.
