What advice do you have for first time Sargood guests?
Don’t let anything intimidate you, give it a try – our staff are fantastic and specifically trained to work with our guests with SCI. Relax and take a breather.
What 3 words would you use to describe Sargood?
Uplifting, chilled, effortless.
What is your proudest moment at Sargood?
Seeing guests who used to be my clients when I worked in the spinal wards bring their partners and children to stay at Sargood. Seeing how far their journey has brought them and just when they thought there was nothing more to learn/experience – Sargood changed their minds.
Where is your favourite travel destination?
Amsterdam – Netherlands: Beautiful place, nicest people in the world.
What fact about you would people be surprised to learn?
I hate the water haha, interesting when I work at Sargood!
What is your favourite food?
Fish and chips.
What is the most important lesson you’ve learnt at Sargood so far?
Everyone’s experience is completely different. From working in the spinal wards it was so important for me to get across that each injury is not like the other, despite being a similar level. Everyone’s journey is their own and it takes as long as it takes. Hopefully Sargood reduces that timeline of getting back to who they really are for some people.

Foo Fighters & Senses Fail.
You’re happiest when?
I’m cruising on my Batec with music in my headphones. No distractions, just taking in the world, feeling the breeze and no social media.
