7 News – Adaptive Waterskiing course

By February 21, 2019September 14th, 2022No Comments

Channel 7 joined us at Manly Dam to watch our guests enjoy water skiing!

It was the perfect day for our guests to hit the water and get involved in this fantastic sport. A huge thank you to our guests who participated, to NSW Water Ski Federation – Disabled Division, and to The Manly Warringah Waterski Club, without whom these days would not be possible. In addition to putting on a BBQ and providing a support boat, Paul Fletcher and his team generously gave up their time to allow NSW Water Ski Federation exclusive access to Manly Dam.

Thank you to everyone who was involved, and we look forward to the next event!

Hitting the water at high speed in a wheelchair

People with severe spinal cord injuries can feel restricted or left out sometimes because of poor accessibility in public places but there's a world first resort here in Sydney changing all that. And it involves hitting the water at high speed in a wheelchair. www.7plus.com.au/news #7News
