Sargood on Collaroy is thrilled to be offering a 14-night Intensive Exercise Course in conjunction with NeuroMoves.
NeuroMoves is a leading exercise and therapy service for people with neurological conditions. The specialised staff excel at providing a safe and supportive environment for clients to undertake evidence-based and client-centred practice, to enable each individual to achieve their goals and reach their full potential.
As a participant you will enjoy 1.5 hour sessions with your therapist and an assistant Monday – Friday and have the opportunity to participate in Sargood on Collaroy’s Activities Program on weekends.
Regular physical activity after sustaining a spinal cord injury can help improve independence, decrease pain, promote neural regeneration, and reduce the risk of secondary complications. During this course you will be exposed to a variety of modalities that will help you to achieve and maintain optimal physical and mental health and independence. The exercise programs are written and delivered by NeuroMoves trained ESSA accredited Senior Exercise Physiologists and senior AHPRA registered Physiotherapists. The programs are individualised to meet your goals, helping you to achieve an improved quality of life.
The course will take place at Sargood on Collaroy’s purpose-built accessible gym, housing specific rehabilitation equipment not found in commercial gyms.
When: Sun 9 May – Sat 22 May
Duration: 13 nights
