Our Rooms

Our Deluxe Family Suite and Ocean View Family Suite are perfectly suited for larger group bookings. With each suite featuring interconnecting bedrooms, we’ve made staying together a breeze.

Our Deluxe Suite can sleep up to eight guests, and our Ocean View Suite up to seven. Each room has king single beds and queen-sized sofa beds, two kitchenettes, and two bathrooms. And as you book per room per night, there are no extra charges whether your group is big or small.

Adaptive equipment to make your stay easier and comfortable (i.e. commode, pressure relieving mattress etc.), Electric Hi-Lo beds

Specialist Support Staff

With a number of specialist staff on site, there’s always someone available to help out over the course of your stay.

Our Specialist Support Staff include occupational therapists, registered nurse, exercise physiologists, guest attendants and specialist vocational consultants. Also included in our Wellness and Support Package is up to six hours of assistance from guest attendants, in case you or someone in your group needs some extra help.

Additional hours can also be purchased.

Food and Drink

Our open plan, communal kitchen designed with the latest in accessible features, is the perfect place to get cooking or share a meal with your group and other guests. Features such as height adjustable benches, adapted cooking aids and a thermomix all make cooking at Sargood stress-free.

If you prefer to dine out, we have a selection of accessible cafes and restaurant nearby, including the newly refurbished The Collaroy, whose entire venue has been made wheelchair friendly on both levels.

On Site Facilities

We have a range of onsite recreational and leisure facilities here at Sargood. Our Recreation Room is large enough to accommodate large groups for movies, video games, a game of pool, and even some board games. Our onsite, state of the art, fully accessible gym is open 8am – 8pm daily, and is available to all guests. The beautiful Ocean View Lounge is our favourite spot to have a drink with friends whilst taking in the magnificent view of Collaroy Beach, and we’re sure your whole group will feel the same.

Whether your group is sports crazy, loves to get artistic, or is just looking to kick back and relax, we’ve got you covered. Action enthusiasts will love our high energy options, including surfing, kayaking, snorkelling, bush push, and rock climbing. Ceramics and arts classes are a great choice for the artistically inclined, and our adaptive yoga class works a treat for relieving stress and feeling calm and relaxed. Get the gang together and head to the farmers markets for some fresh ingredients, and come cook up a storm in our fully adapted communal kitchen. With whale watching, snooker comps and even lawn bowls, there’s something for everyone here at Sargood on Collaroy.

Amazing staff, great facilities. Awesome view. Good parking. Uber eats will deliver right to your room and there are plenty of yummy local food options. Such a good set-up and great way to learn about helpful home automation and products for people in wheelchairs as well as do some fun, wheelchair-accessible activities including surfing, snorkelling, gym, a lighthouse trip... Sargood is saaaaaaar gooood!

I strongly suggest this plan for people who has spinal cord injury and wants to have some holidays. bedrooms are really comfortable, the location is very convenient but the best of all is their friendly stuff. As a individual support worker, I can tell that they have all facilities which did my work a lot easy with the client that I assisted in his holidays.

The last 7 days staying at Sargood on Collaroy was amazing for me, learning to motor wheelchair on the beach and standing barefoot on the sand. Even though I have no feeling in my feet or legs I could see the sand on my toes. This is something I thought I would never experience again . Thank you all for your care at Sargood.

If I could givr more stars I would.My partner is tetraplegic after a misdiagnosis 6 months ago.We went to Sargood as a holiday for our whole family including 3 toddlers.The rooms were great.We had a room to ourselves and the family their own, the views perfect.The staff were absolutely amazing.They gave him his dignity back and taught us both so much.We can't wait to go back.

Sargood is truly such a special place, the staff are so welcoming and friendly and very helpful. The physiotherapist are exceptional and I had the best physio sessions I have ever had! The rooms are so comfortable and luxurious!The activities were absolutely amazing and the equipment is so fantastic, it was such an amazing opportunity to try an x8 chair and be able to go on a bush hike, something I never thought I would be able to do again!There is such a wide variety of different activities to try and a great family area too. My little girl loved the basketball ball and table tennis and giant dolls house!The location being so close to the beach is really handy and being close to the beach pool is great as I could wheel down in my chair and watch my husband take my daughter for a swim in the beach pool too.I highly recommend Sargood to anyone, it really is a wonderful place.

Stayed at Sargood earlier this year. To say it was amazing would be an understatement. The facilities are great but beyond that the staff are the absolute best. They go above and beyond to make you feel like anything you want to do is possible and is easy. It is the first time trying new things were I didn’t feel disabled. Getting back in the water was big and took a few tries but they were so supportive and were excited for me when I overcame my fear.All the staff played a part in making my time there one of the most memorable moments ever.I will definitely be back

Currently on my 2nd visit. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. As a permanent wheelchair user this is the only place I feel truly independent.The designers have literally thought of everything. The staff are lovely. Nothing is too much trouble, and whatever activity you want to do, they find a way to make it happen.The rooms are enormous. The views are sublime. Wish I could stay forever.
