Adaptive Water Skiing at Sargood on Collaroy – February 2019

Sargood is teaming up with The New South Wales Water Ski Federation to bring you a weekend of thrills at Manly Dam.

  • Cruise at a leisurely speed or get your adrenaline pumping and attempt some high speed jumps – it’s totally up to you!
  • Various modified sit skis and equipment including life jackets, ski ropes & handles will be provided.

The New South Wales Water Ski Federation – Disabled Division, is a Water Ski program open to all ages with various physical disabilities. The Federation will be hosting this event at Manly Dam, where Sargood participants will be transported to and from the event.

Note: strong swimming skills not required but must be water confident.

When: 8th – 10th February 2019

Duration: 2 nights

Cost: $795/night or $995/night (depending on care needs)

Where: Sargood on Collaroy

Course Package Includes:

  • Transport to and from Water Skiing Event on Saturday 9th February 9am – 3pm
  • 2 nights’ accommodation in a deluxe studio room (sleeps 4, upgrade to ocean view or family suite available on request at additional charge paid by you)
  • Welcome BBQ on Friday 8th February at 6pm
  • BBQ Lunch on 9th February at water skiing
  • Use of all onsite adaptive equipment (4×4 wheelchairs, beach access equipment, adapted cycles and more. Subject to availability)

Please note: you must be living in the community to apply to attend any of the courses run at Sargood on Collaroy. If you are currently an inpatient at a health facility then unfortunately you are not eligible to apply.
