Sargood on Collaroy and Empower Golf Australia hosted the inaugural Adaptive Golf Camp across two beautiful summer days in December. The camp provided golfers with a truly memorable experience playing at some the best courses in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Alongside Empower Golf’s PGA pro Lachie Foulsham, the course included competition days, coaching, and three nights luxury accommodation at Sargood.
Experienced golfers Vic Barisic and Chester Bendell invited friends David and Paul to partner up in a Ryder Cup Matchplay format. With one-hour short game coaching followed by two 18-hole rounds of competitive golf set for the camp, it was game on.
Day one was held at the beautiful Mona Vale golf course and Chester Bendell turned up with his A Game! Chester and David took down Vic and his Paul in a close match, finishing two points up.
Championship Day (day two) was held at the picturesque Palm Beach golf course, and the conditions did not disappoint. Championship Day saw a tide turn with good mates Vic and Paul convincingly defeating Chester and Mark to become the inaugural Sargood Golf Champions!
An amazing experience for all involved and fitting end to a wonderful 2018 in partnership with Empower Golf.
