Accommodation Options
Sargood on Collaroy has 17 fully accessible rooms and suites all featuring the very latest in adaptive technology, home automation, accessible equipment and daily living aids. Rooms either look out onto our manicured gardens and grounds or have panoramic views of Collaroy Beach and out to the magnificent Pacific Ocean.
The layout and features in each room have been specifically and thoughtfully designed to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for people living with spinal cord injury, whether it is a family stay, friends or with a carer.
We want to make your stay as easy and stress-free as possible so we provide almost everything you will need (check out our handy Packing for Your Stay page). We understand that everyone’s requirements are unique, and we will customise your room to suit your individual needs.
Funded accommodation packages
For guests who are being funded by icare or the NDIS short term accommodation, you will need to stay on one of our packages.
Wellness Package

- Access to our therapist led and supported weekly activity program and access to either Clinical Nurse Education/ Occupational Therapy/ Vocational Services for 1 hour per day or access to a course being run at Sargood.
- Access to adaptive equipment and onsite Gymnasium. (NO food, continence supplies or transport provided.)
Wellness & Support Package

- Up to 6 hours per day assistance with self-care activities at a 1:1 ratio
- Access to our therapist led and supported weekly activity program, and access to either Clinical Nurse Education/ Occupational Therapy/Vocational Services for 1 hour per day or access to a course being run at Sargood.
- Access to adaptive equipment and onsite Gymnasium. (NO food, continence supplies or transport provided.)
Wellness & High Support Package

- Up to 12 hours per day assistance with self-care activities at a 1:1 ratio

- Access to adaptive equipment and onsite Gymnasium. (NO food, continence supplies or transport provided.)

Upgrades & Extras
Our thoughtfully designed rooms and suites feature assistive technology, home automation, adaptive equipment and daily living aids. We provide all the essentials you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
We have a variety of upgrades on offer, available for guests taking one of our packages, and are usually at a cost privately paid for by guests.
- Ocean View Rooms (extra $150 per night)
- Standard Family Suite (extra $350 per night)*
- Deluxe Family Suite (extra $350 per night)*
- Ocean View Family Suite (extra $500 per night)
*In some cases, for example if you have a large family and dependants, icare may approve funding for an upgrade to a family suite. This is decided on a case by case basis so please contact your case manager to discuss your needs.
